Head Chef Olly Jackson has brought innovation and efficiency to many kitchens he’s worked in across the world.
After training for four years at Northampton College, he continued his culinary career by working under food writer and restaurateur, Ruth Watson. He also travelled across Australia on a food tour for one year with Bill Granger, an acclaimed Australian chef and restaurateur.
Olly later gained the title of Head Chef at The New Yard Restauraunt in Cornwall, and has made appearances on Channel 4’s ‘Three Hungry Boys’ and ITV’s ‘Britain’s Best Dish.’ You can now find him as Head Chef at Langford Fivehead, where he gained a score of 6 in the Good Food Guide, two AA Rosettes and a complimentary entry in the Michelin Guide. He’s also managed to transform Langford Fivehead’s small kitchen garden into a space that produces 90% of the restaurant’s fruit and vegetables.
As for his role as a professional chef, he loves that his job isn’t boring and everyday is different with a new challenge to overcome.
