Chef Proprietor Sam Salway’s love of cooking may have started on the Quantock Hills in Somerset, but it soon landed him in some of France’s top restaurants.
Having perfected his culinary craft on the continent, he ventured back to his home county to assume the role of Chef Lecturer at West Somerset College in Minehead. It was there where he and his wife, Claire, decided to open The Jubilee Inn, in Pelynt, Cornwall. The hotel has been listed as number 6 in The Times 50 Best Luxury Small hotels.
Sam combines French cooking style and technique with a passion for local, seasonal produce.
