At just 26 years old, Niall Keating has done his homework and managed to climb his way fast and efficiently up the culinary ladder as the current Executive Head Chef of Whatley Manor.
His first kitchen role in the industry was in 2010 as a commis chef at The Bath Priory Hotel, where he worked for two years to earn himself the role of sous chef. He then moved to Nottingham to work as chef de partie at the two-star Michelin restaurant Sat Bains, where he stayed for two years before taking on a role at the three-starred Michelin restaurant Benu under the acclaimed Corey Lee. In 2015, he hopped back on a plane, this time heading to Copenhagen where he assumed the role of chef de cuisine at the one-star Michelin restaurant Kong Hans Kaelder with Chef Mark Lundgaard Nelson.
Now, back in England, he’s heading up the kitchen at Whatley Manor where you can see how Korean, Japanese and classic French cuisines have all inspired and helped to shape his cooking style and technique.
